Guide To Buying Your Next Wireless Headphones

Wireless headphones are still an accessory that does not go out of style. Each manufacturer offers options for all tastes and budgets, making it difficult to choose which one to buy. With this guide we have prepared for you, you will be sure to be right when deciding on the next helmets you will give or give yourself.

Wireless headphones: freedom and comfort

Wireless Bluetooth headphones can be found in various shapes, sizes, and prices. Thus, it can be quite an adventure to know which is the best option for you or someone else.

Oversized headphones, noise-cancelling, small devices that fit in the ear… deciding is hard enough. Which ones are the best? Easy, with the help of our guide.

How to choose your wireless headphones

Before choosing, think about the use you will give the headphones, the budget you manage and what format you want them to have.

But you must recognize other features such as warranty, comfort, sound quality, durability, autonomy and battery life or compatibility.

What design goes with you?

On the one hand, we have the circumaural Bluetooth headphones (placed over the ear and covered completely), which are quite large and relatively heavy.

On the other hand, there are over-ear Bluetooth headphones that fit over the ear, and also in-ear headphones, which are inserted into the ear canal. The latter is quite small by comparison and tends to be cheaper.

Comfort above all

Once you are clear about the type of headset that best suits what you are looking for, you should place those most comfortable for you at the “top” of your list.

If you want your headphones to be light, for example, to play sports and forget that you are wearing them, your option is supra aural.

If you want robust headphones with a better sound response, for example, to work ( video calls, etc.), the headband ones will be perfect. Whatever the design, make sure they fit you and your use well.

Check the specifications

When buying headphones, apart from everything mentioned, remember to consider a series of specifications that will make you hear any audio better or worse.

  • Driver Size: The larger the size, the wider the sound waves they can produce. Most over-ear headphones come with 40mm or larger drivers, while more compact headphones feature 6-8mm drivers. Larger drivers generally deliver louder, more powerful sound (but this isn’t the only factor that affects audio power).
  • Frequency Range: Also known as Bass, Mid, and Treble, the headphones’ frequencies are capable of outputting and are measured in Hz. The higher this number, the better, as low frequencies create a sensation of punch or distortion.
  • High-Resolution Audio: If your headphones have this technology, they will be able to reproduce the full range of sounds, and the closer they will be to the quality with which musicians and engineers work when recording in the studio.
  • Noise cancellation: Active noise cancellation is an increasingly common feature among headphones of all kinds, classified as high-end due to their price and the most basic. While most headphones will naturally block out some ambient sound by creating a physical barrier between your eardrum and the outside world, active noise cancellation goes one step further, using built-in microphones to analyze ambient noise and create “anti-noise” frequencies that blend in with playing music.

Consider the price

Once you have considered the technologies you need, what you will use them for and how you want them to be, it is time to think about the budget you are willing to invest.

There are many wireless headphone options at very different price points, but remember that the cheapest models on the market will likely feature fewer drivers and more rudimentary quality. Hence, the “cheap” thing once again applies here. It’s expensive.”
